Create PulseChain Token

Connect to the chosen blockchain.
Choose a great name for your token.
Choose a great symbol for your token.
Smart contract name is being derived from your token name and visible after verification. If you are not sure, we recommend keeping the default value.
Choose how many tokens you want to create.

Tokens

If the Mintable feature is enabled, the owner will be able to mint new tokens until the total supply reaches the maximum supply.
Choose how many decimal places your tokens can be divided to. If you are not sure, we recommend leaving it at 18.
Instead of your wallet, enter a different address to receive the initial supply of tokens.
Instead of your wallet, enter a different address that will have ownership of the token after it is created.

How to create a PulseChain token?

PulseChain is unusual: it launched in May 2023 as a full fork of Ethereum's state, meaning copies of every ERC-20 from Ethereum at the fork moment exist at the same addresses on PulseChain. The chain runs Proof of Stake with 3-second blocks and gas costs significantly lower than Ethereum mainnet. The community is heavily aligned around HEX, PulseX, and Richard Heart's broader ecosystem, which gives the chain a built-in audience but also shapes the cultural fit for tokens launching here.

What deploying through 20lab looks like

Connect a wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, or any WalletConnect option) and add PulseChain as a custom network using its public RPC if not already configured - chain ID 369, native gas token PLS. Configure your token's name, symbol, supply, and decimals; pick optional features like mintable, pausable, taxes, or anti-bot protection; then deploy. Mainnet gas is a fraction of a dollar in PLS similarly like other supported chains.

Native PulseChain liquidity vs forked tokens

The forked ERC-20s from Ethereum exist on PulseChain but generally don't have liquidity unless someone provided it - the original projects have no control over their PulseChain copies, and value is determined entirely by what the local market decides. New tokens you deploy on PulseChain are fresh, full-control assets - completely separate from anything on Ethereum, with their own holders and economics.

Going live on PulseX

PulseX is PulseChain's main DEX by a wide margin. Create a pair against PLS or another stable asset; once a pool exists, your PulseChain token appears in the PulseX swap UI automatically. Distribute to early holders via the multisender airdrop tool, then submit to CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, and PulseScan.

PulseChain gas costs are usually a fraction of a dollar in PLS, plus a 20lab service fee shown on the summary before you confirm.

If you held ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum at the time of the PulseChain fork (May 2023), copies of those tokens exist at the same addresses on PulseChain. But these copies have no relationship with the original projects - the Ethereum team has no control over the PulseChain copy, no liquidity exists for most of them by default, and value is determined entirely by what the PulseChain market decides. For a new token, you deploy fresh on PulseChain.

PulseChain was created by Richard Heart, the same founder behind the HEX token. PulseX (the dominant DEX on PulseChain) and PulseChain itself form an interconnected ecosystem with HEX as its largest token. The community is heavily aligned around these projects, which gives PulseChain a built-in audience for new launches but also means tokens on the chain inherit reputational associations - factor that into your branding and marketing.

The official PulseChain bridge has operated since 2023, but third-party bridges are limited compared to mainstream chains. Liquidity for bridging in and out is concentrated in a few paths - check the current state on the PulseChain explorer before relying on a bridge for time-sensitive operations. For most new token launches, native PulseChain liquidity is what matters anyway.

PulseX is PulseChain's main DEX by a wide margin. Create a pair on PulseX by pairing your token with PLS or another stable asset; once a pool exists, your token appears in the PulseX swap UI automatically. After that, distribute to your community with the PulseChain airdrop tool and submit to CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap.
