Create Mantle Token
How to create a Mantle token?
Mantle is a modular Layer-2 with two things going for it that most L2s don't have: a data availability layer separate from Ethereum (EigenDA), which makes gas the cheapest among major rollups, and a treasury over $2 billion that actively funds projects building on the chain.
EigenDA: how Mantle gets fees this low
Posting transaction data to Ethereum is the single most expensive part of running a rollup. Most L2s do exactly that - which is why their gas costs scale with L1 congestion. Mantle separates this out: execution and settlement still go through Ethereum, but data availability runs through EigenDA, a separate layer secured by Ethereum-restaked ETH via EigenLayer. The result is gas costs typically a few cents in MNT regardless of mainnet conditions. The tradeoff is that EigenDA is newer than Ethereum's own data availability and has less battle-testing, though the security derivation through restaking is direct.
Treasury programs as a real factor
If your project has actual product utility - not just a meme coin - the Mantle EcoFund and various builder programs can fund material portions of your launch. This is one of the largest treasuries in L2 land, and approval criteria favor projects bringing measurable users and liquidity.
Deploying and pairing with mETH
Connect a wallet, switch to chain ID 5000, configure your token through 20lab, and deploy. FusionX and Merchant Moe are the main native DEXes. After your token is created submit your Mantle token to CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap after liquidity is in place.

Mantle has very low gas costs - deployment usually runs a few cents in MNT plus a 20lab service fee shown on the summary before you confirm.
EigenDA is a separate data availability layer that Mantle uses instead of posting all transaction data to Ethereum directly. This is what gives Mantle some of the lowest fees among Ethereum L2s - data availability is the most expensive part of running a rollup, and EigenDA is much cheaper than Ethereum's calldata or blobs. The tradeoff is that EigenDA is newer and less battle-tested than Ethereum's own data availability, though it's secured by Ethereum-restaked ETH through EigenLayer.
Mantle has one of the largest treasuries in the L2 space and runs grant programs for ecosystem projects, including Mantle EcoFund and various builder programs. Approval criteria change but generally favor projects that bring users or liquidity to the chain. Worth checking mantle.xyz directly for current programs - this is meaningful capital that genuinely affects which projects can launch on Mantle competitively.
FusionX and Merchant Moe are Mantle's main native DEXes. Create a pair, then distribute to early holders with the Mantle airdrop tool and submit to CoinGecko and CoinMarketCap.
